You describe a problem in plain language and it works through it like a senior engineer would: grounded, cited, and clear about the trade-offs. It is not a search box and not a directory, it is a consultant you can ask anything in the field.
What can I ask it?
Anything across industrial automation and robotics. Whether a task is worth automating and what it would take, how to present or fixture a part, which sensor or component fits, how to wire or configure a device, which standard applies, how to approach a process, or how to troubleshoot something that is not behaving. You can start vague; Robtn asks the questions that sharpen it.
How is it different from a general AI assistant?
A general assistant answers from whatever it has read. Robtn is built for one field: it reasons from the way automation projects actually succeed or fail, characterizing the part and the task before the hardware, and it is honest when something is hard. It also grounds and cites its answers, and when a real person or product would help, it can surface one, ranked purely by fit.
Is Robtn a directory I browse?
No. You ask about your problem and it advises. There is no list to scroll and you are never handed one. If a supplier or expert genuinely fits what you are working on, it is surfaced quietly alongside the advice, never as the main event.
Is anything sponsored or pay-to-rank?
No. Nothing in Robtn is sponsored or pay-to-rank, and there is no advertising. Anything it surfaces is ordered by relevance to your problem only. The moment placement could be bought, the advice would stop being trustworthy, so it never can be.
Will suppliers start contacting me?
No. Contact only ever happens when you choose to make it. A supplier or expert can never reach you first, and you are never added to anyone's call list. You stay in control of who, if anyone, you connect with.
Do you sell my information?
No. Robtn never sells or shares your personal information, and it never hands your details to a third party. A connection to someone else happens only if you decide to make it.
Can Robtn be wrong?
Yes. Robtn is AI, and its answers can be incomplete or incorrect. Treat them as a well-reasoned starting point, and verify against your own requirements, qualified professionals, and the applicable standards before acting, especially for anything affecting safety.
What does it cost?
There is a free tier with up to two projects. Buyer Pro is GBP 39 per user per month for more projects. Experts and suppliers have their own plans. You can get real value before paying anything.
